I was obsessed with Every Summer After and One Golden Summer, so I knew that I was going to love this Carley Fortune book. I especially loved the summer backdrop on Prince Edward Island. One of the characters is a competitive oyster shucker, which I thought was fun & creative. It also had me craving a dozen or so oysters while reading the book. While technically this is a “beach read,” if you haven’t read it, I wouldn’t wait for the summer season.
