I never really knew what a “cozy” fantasy book was, until now. After reading this one, I finally get it.

I’m so used to reading intense thrillers, intense romance books, intense epic fantasy series. But this time it felt nice to read a story that wasn’t high-stakes or heavy…just fun, heartwarming, and full of good feels.

This is the book we chose for the October Sunday Reading Book Club, and it turned out to be the perfect pick for the summer-to-fall season. No spooky Halloween vibes here. Just enough of a witchy twist to carry me from beach reads into autumn.
