Whew! This one was quite the holiday treat, like taking a sip of hot chocolate and realizing it’s spiked… with a little extra spice. I’ll admit, I laughed to myself when I first read the synopsis of Good Spirits by B.K. Borison: a Ghost of Christmas Past (Nolan) comes back to haunt a whimsical, “romanticize my life” people-pleaser named Harriett. This was such a fun, endearing holiday romance and one of the first I’ve picked up. It absolutely screams Hallmark Channel, but with enough spice to bump it into HBO-lite territory. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun, light, holiday read.
