The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins cover

The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins

“You’ve wasted so many years being so consumed with other people, their feelings, their thoughts, and what they’re doing. So let this book be your wake-up call; you are in charge.”

OK – so full disclosure, I did not finish this book… but not because I didn’t think it was good, I absolutely now believe in the “let them” theory and have started using it in my life. I DNF simply because I felt like the lesson and message of the book was basically explained in the first few chapters; and this could have just been a 1 hour podcast episode, rather than a book. Now, I understand the basic economics of why Mel would want to write this as a book, rather than just giving the info out for free as a podcast episode, but she’s been doing so much promo on the book and “let them” theory, that you can basically find all the info she teaches online for free anyways.

Regardless – I did like what Mel taught, and have already seen progress in my life by implementing it, so for that, I suggest at least looking into the “let them” theory and if it’s worth applying to your own life.
